PEAKTEAMS measures how teams work together, not how individuals feel. Teams answer 57 anonymous questions in about 12 minutes across 18 research-based performance indicators: five on Input (purpose, direction, resources, roles, leadership), ten on Process (how the team works day to day), two on Output (what it delivers), and one on Friction (energy lost to overhead). The result is Team Net Value, a single effectiveness score from 0 to 100, plus the team's identity from 16 types, a Consensus Matrix showing where members agree and disagree, and One Big Thing—one specific action with three concrete steps to improve first.
The tool is built on published team-effectiveness literature and designed for team leads, HR teams, and coaches. It includes a free team check requiring no signup, and paid early access for teams wanting benchmarks and history. Reports are available once at least five team members respond.

How long does the survey take to complete?
The Performance Snapshot survey takes about 12 minutes per member and contains 57 questions. A Performance Deep-Dive variant with over 200 questions is also available for teams wanting item-level detail.
When will the team report be available?
The report is available usually within two weeks after the last team member answers, but only once at least five team members have completed the survey. The team lead's answer does not count toward this minimum.
What is Team Net Value and how is it calculated?
Team Net Value is a single team effectiveness score from 0 to 100. It is calculated by combining the average scores from Input, Process and Output to create the value the team produces, then applying Friction as a squared tax on that value. The formula is: Team Net Value = value × (1 − friction tax), where the friction tax is squared so severe friction is catastrophic.
Are responses kept anonymous?
Yes, all responses are anonymous. Each team member answers the survey privately, their individual answers are never shown to other team members or leaders, and results are only displayed at the team level once combined with responses from at least five members.
Can teams repeat the survey to track progress?
Yes, teams can run a new survey whenever they want—after a change of leader, reorganization, or simply next quarter. Every survey is kept in the team's history, and all previous reports remain accessible for comparison.
