The tool includes an LLM Inspector to track model calls and token costs, authorization testing to check access control, API contract checking against OpenAPI specs, and release diffing to compare API changes between versions. It supports traffic replay, failure simulation, and live sharing, and works as an MCP server with 151 tools for AI agents. All features are free for life with no trial, account, or license key required.

Which platforms does it run on?
Cloak Proxy runs on macOS 14 Sonoma or later (Apple silicon and Intel), and on Linux as a beta. For iPad, it requires the app to stay on screen. For Windows, there is a waitlist.
Does Subcloak see my traffic?
No. Captured traffic, workspaces, and the certificate private key stay on your device. AI requests go directly from your device to your chosen provider with your own API key.
Can it be deployed to a team's Macs?
Yes. An installer package (Cloak-Proxy.pkg) is available for teams, signed and notarized by Apple, compatible with MDM services or sudo installer with a sample configuration profile.
What makes it different from Charles, Proxyman, HTTP Toolkit or mitmproxy?
Cloak Proxy is free with nothing behind a paywall and includes an integrated API client with collections, a full MCP server, an LLM Inspector, and API testing from captured traffic.
