Website Copier is an online service that captures and archives websites as static files. Users paste a URL, choose between HTTP or JavaScript-rendered capture modes, and receive a downloadable ZIP containing HTML, CSS, images, fonts and assets, plus a detailed report of what was saved. The captured pages have their internal links rewritten to work locally. The service is designed for backing up websites, migrating to static hosting, creating offline archives, and preserving website snapshots. It does not export databases, login-protected pages, or working backend features like forms or checkout systems. Captures are stored privately in user accounts for 30 days and can be served on any static hosting platform.

Does it work on Wix, Squarespace, Shopify and WordPress?
Website Copier can capture publicly reachable front-end pages from these platforms depending on how each site renders. It is not a platform exporter, so editor projects, WordPress databases, Shopify checkout and admin data are not included.
Can I host the result elsewhere?
Yes. You can extract the static ZIP and upload it to a static host. You manage deployment, redirects, domain and DNS; server-side features and external services must be replaced separately.
Will forms, checkout and logins work?
No. A form or checkout may appear in captured HTML, but submissions, payments, authentication and live search are not recreated. Login-protected pages are not captured, and dynamic APIs are not replayed.
What is the difference between HTTP and JS-rendered mode?
HTTP collects server-delivered HTML and referenced assets without executing the page in a browser. JS-rendered mode loads a browser page and saves its observed DOM as static HTML with scripts removed for client-rendered content.
Can I download a website for free?
Yes. The Free plan includes 2 copies per UTC calendar month with 1 page per copy and depth 0, without a credit card required.
