Refoid is a web service for iOS and macOS developers who sell in-app purchases or subscriptions through the App Store. It receives Apple's refund-related notifications, sends your configured responses, and keeps the request, response, and final decision together in one place.
Developers connect their App Store app by providing an App Store Server API key and configuring App Store Server Notifications V2 with Refoid's webhook. No Refoid SDK or server of your own is required. Once connected, Refoid verifies each refund request from Apple, matches its signed transaction, sends your configured response preference, and retries temporary failures within Apple's deadline.
The service records each response and Apple's final outcome in a timeline for inspection. You can receive emails for each confirmed Apple refund decline with the application, transaction amount, and link to history. All plans include automated responses, full response timeline, email notifications, and CSV export with no success fees or revenue share.

Who is Refoid for?
Refoid is for iOS and macOS developers and teams managing App Store in-app purchases and subscriptions. It handles refund response infrastructure for one app or a portfolio without requiring a Refoid SDK or your own server. It is not a service for consumers requesting refunds.
What do I need to connect my app?
You need an App Store Server API key (Issuer ID, Key ID, and .p8 private key) and App Store Server Notifications V2. Paste the webhook URL generated by Refoid into App Store Connect for Production, Sandbox, or both. No Refoid SDK or customer backend is required.
Does Refoid decide which refunds get declined?
No. Apple makes every final refund decision. Refoid verifies each request, matches its signed App Store transaction, sends your configured response, and records Apple's outcome. Refoid never promises a decline rate or treats an accepted response as a refund declined.
Is the process automatic?
Yes. Once the Apple connection is verified, Refoid automatically receives refund requests, queues eligible responses, retries temporary errors within Apple's 12-hour window, and records the final decision. Apple can decide either way and expired deadlines and plan limits remain visible.
How do monthly limits work?
Limits cover the purchase value of responses started for processing, not money recovered. Each purchase counts once per UTC calendar month and retries are free. Non-USD purchases use a recorded exchange rate. At the limit, new responses wait for an upgrade while Apple notifications and outcomes continue to be recorded with no automatic overage charges.
