Quackback is an open-source customer feedback and support platform that helps teams hear what customers want and tell them when features ship. It includes feedback boards where customers post and vote on ideas, a public roadmap to show what's planned, and a changelog to notify voters when features launch. The platform also includes live chat, email and ticket support in one inbox, a help center for customer self-service, and a status page for incident updates.

The product runs on the cloud or self-hosted with Docker and Postgres on your own infrastructure. Every feature is available in both editions, with unlimited seats on self-hosted. Quackback AI answers customers around the clock and assists your team with drafting replies and analyzing feedback.

    Anyone on your team who uses the admin, including pending invites. Customers, voters and chat visitors never use a seat. Move up a plan to add more teammates, or self-host with unlimited seats.

  2. Can I keep my data on my own servers?

    Yes. Self-host the complete product with Docker and Postgres on infrastructure you control. You manage security, backups and upgrades, and can export your data whenever you need it.

  3. Is the self-hosted version limited?

    No. The self-hosted version has every feature including single sign-on, custom roles and audit log, with unlimited seats and no license key. You cover your own infrastructure and AI provider costs.

  4. Does the help center power Quackback AI?

    Yes. On paid plans, the agent answers customers from your published articles and cites them, and Copilot uses them to draft your team's replies. Improve an article and every answer using it improves too.

  5. Can it replace my support chat as well?

    Yes. Live chat, email and tickets are built in. If you only want feedback, switch them off.
