A menu bar app that moves keyboard focus to the screen, window or split pane you're looking at using your Mac's camera.
What it is

Glance Switch: the homepage
Glance Switch is a macOS menu bar app that uses your Mac's camera to track which screen, window or split pane you're looking at and automatically moves keyboard focus there before your first keystroke. You don't need to click.
The app works with multiple monitors arranged any way, and also focuses between windows on the same screen and between split panes in terminals and code editors. It learns from your everyday clicks to improve accuracy over time.
Glance Switch is careful not to interrupt: it waits while you type, stays out of the way when you use the mouse, and ignores quick glances. All processing happens on your Mac using Apple's Vision framework—camera frames are never saved or uploaded.

Quick answers
Is it really tracking my eyes?
Mostly your head. Screen switching uses which way your head is turned, which is reliable with an ordinary webcam. Same-screen window and pane focus adds where your eyes sit, refined by the dot-by-dot calibration and by learning from your clicks.
Does it record or upload video?
No. Frames are processed in memory with Apple's Vision framework and thrown away. Nothing is written to disk and nothing is uploaded. The app only goes online to check your license key and to look for app updates once a day.
Will it steal focus while I'm typing or using the mouse?
No. While you type, focus stays in place until 2 seconds after your last keystroke. It never moves focus while you're using the mouse or trackpad, or for 1.5 seconds after.
What if I move my laptop or monitors?
Recalibrate from the menu bar, which takes about 20 seconds per screen. If you forget, Glance Switch notices that focus keeps missing and suggests it.
Is there a free trial?
No. Glance Switch needs a license key to run. Purchases are final, as described in the Privacy & Refund Policy.
