What it is

Gazebo: the homepage

Gazebo is a credential management system designed for AI agents and automation tools. It provides each agent with a separate identity and restricted access to only the credentials it needs, replacing the traditional practice of sharing API keys across multiple tools. The platform offers an encrypted vault for storing credentials, access profiles that define what services and operations each agent can perform, and comprehensive audit logging of every credential access request. Users can revoke agent access at any time, and the system handles credential retrieval through both MCP and REST API interfaces.

Listed capabilities

  • AES-256-GCM credential encryption at rest
  • Scoped access profiles with method restrictions
  • Complete audit logging of credential access
  • One-click agent revocation
  • TypeScript SDK for server-side automation
  • MCP integration for AI tools
  • OAuth consent flow with approval controls
  • REST API for credential retrieval
  • Per-agent bearer tokens for authentication
  • Audit retention up to one year

Pricing

Pricing model: Freemium

Free plan includes 3 connected services, 2 access profiles, 1 consent client, MCP/API access, and 90-day audit log retention (free during beta). Solo plan is $9/month with 10 connected services, 10 access profiles, 3 consent clients, MCP/API access, and 90-day audit log retention (free during beta).

Quick answers

  1. What is a connected service?

A connected service is a set of credentials stored in your encrypted vault. Authorized agent API or MCP requests return the actual provider credential to the calling runtime; dashboard connection views show status rather than stored values.

  2. What is an access profile?

An access profile is a scoped connection for an AI tool or agent. You choose which service credentials it can retrieve. Connect using MCP OAuth with explicit key approval, or configure a compatible client with a scoped Gazebo agent token.

  3. How are credentials stored?

Credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before being written to the database. Authorized runtime retrieval returns the plaintext key over HTTPS, so trust the agent's runtime and host. Provider permissions limit its subsequent use.

  4. What does 'Free during beta' mean?

While Gazebo is in beta, all paid plans are available at no cost. When beta ends, you'll be notified in advance and given time to choose a plan before any charges begin.

  5. What is MCP / API access?

Gazebo exposes an MCP endpoint for credential retrieval using OAuth or scoped agent tokens. It checks service, key and declared-method access before releasing a provider key. The runtime receives the actual key; its provider permissions govern subsequent use.
