It integrates with AI coding agents like Claude Code, Cursor, and Windsurf via an MCP server, allowing AI to read tickets, identify the exact source file and line number, and automatically propose fixes and pull requests. Quick answers
What is FeedBug?
FeedBug is a visual bug reporting widget for teams using Linear or GitHub Issues. Your QA testers click on the bug directly on your website, FeedBug captures a screenshot, console logs, network errors and the HTML context, and opens the issue in the Linear project or GitHub repository you chose.
How do I install FeedBug?
Add one script tag to your website before the closing body tag. No SDK, no build step. It works with React, Vue, Next.js, Nuxt, Angular, Svelte, Rails or plain HTML and takes about two minutes to set up.
How does FeedBug integrate with Linear and GitHub?
You connect your Linear workspace or GitHub account via OAuth, then pick the destination for each site. Every bug report becomes an issue there with the screenshot, diagnostics and a link back to the live pin on the page, and statuses stay in sync in both directions.
Will FeedBug slow down my website?
No. The widget is around 10kb gzipped, loads asynchronously, and runs in a Shadow DOM so it never conflicts with your existing styles or scripts. It only loads on the domains you explicitly allow.
What is the MCP server for?
FeedBug ships an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server you can plug into Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf or VS Code. Your AI agent reads the ticket, opens the exact file and line thanks to the captured HTML context, proposes the patch and opens the PR.
