fedo is an SDK for Android and iOS that enables developers to collect in-app user feedback, feature requests, and votes without users leaving the app or creating accounts. The SDK integrates natively into mobile apps in two function calls and displays a polished feedback screen that automatically matches the app's design theme.

Users can submit feedback, vote on feature requests, and follow along as items move through a roadmap with five status columns: In Review, Planned, In Progress, Shipped, and Closed. All feedback, votes, and comments flow into a shared dashboard where developers can read full threads, see who voted, and organize requests by vote count.

fedo collects only what users submit plus a fixed set of device and app properties—no behavior tracking, location tracking, fingerprinting, or advertising identifiers. Data belongs to users and can be exported as JSON or CSV on request.

    On Android, add the SDK to Gradle dependencies and call Fedo.initialize() in Application.onCreate, then place the FedoFeedbackScreen composable where users can access it. On iOS, add the fedo Swift package, call Fedo.initialize() at app start, then embed the feedback view with SwiftUI or present a submit-only sheet. No UI to build, no backend to run.

  2. What platforms does fedo support?

    fedo supports Android with Kotlin and iOS with Swift. Both platforms share the same dashboard and deliver the same polished in-app feedback experience.

  3. How is fedo different from tools like Canny or UserVoice?

    Unlike Canny and UserVoice which ask users to leave the app and log in to a separate portal, fedo lives natively inside the app. Users can submit feedback without creating an account and never lose context.

  4. Does fedo collect any passive data from my users?

    fedo collects only what users submit—feedback, comments, and votes—plus any user details you set like user ID or email. The SDK attaches fixed device and app properties automatically including platform, manufacturer, model, OS version, locale, and time zone, but cannot track behavior, location, or use advertising identifiers.

  5. Can I export my data if I move to another tool?

    Yes, your feedback data belongs to you. Email hello@getfedo.com and fedo will send a complete export of your feedback, votes, comments, user details and statuses as JSON or CSV, usually within a couple of business days.
