What it is

Bloblings: the homepage
Bloblings is a native macOS app that creates an animated pet for every Claude Code session. Each Blobling visually represents what its session is doing—typing when editing, hammering when running commands, reading when browsing files—and highlights with a glow when the session needs your approval, input or response. The app adds a small hook to Claude Code that logs tool usage without slowing it down, and displays pets in a slim drawer on the edge of your screen.
The app helps you manage multiple concurrent sessions by showing which ones are waiting on you, which are done, and which are busy. Click any Blobling to jump directly to its thread in Claude, Codex, or your terminal. It supports subagents with their own pets and crews, passing notes between threads, and multi-agent workflows with visual indicators for effort levels and model types.
Bloblings is 100% free with no account or trial required. It runs entirely on your Mac—no data leaves the device. It requires macOS 15 or later and is a native Swift app of 4.3 MB.

Quick answers
How does Bloblings know what sessions are doing?
Bloblings adds one small hook to Claude Code that writes a short note each time a session uses a tool, logging which tool and a short hint like a file name. This takes about 10 milliseconds and never slows Claude down.
Can threads read each other's conversations?
No. Threads only receive notes passed to them by Bloblings; they never read each other's full conversations.
What happens if you leave a session waiting too long?
A waiting Blobling shows a clock after 1 minute, cobwebs after 15 minutes, and after 1 hour appears as bones with a tumbleweed. After 24 hours it becomes a pile of dust. Finished sessions never do this.
What are the system requirements?
Bloblings requires macOS 15 or later. It is a native Swift app with a 4.3 MB download.
