About Other

Other is the catch-all rail. Some software refuses to sit under a named heading: a tool made for a trade too narrow to earn its own row, a product that straddles two jobs, or something so fresh that nobody has named its shelf yet. It lands here, so it still gets a numbered place and a chance to be seen.

Browse it as you would any category page. The products and businesses are listed together, and the filters cut the rows down to what you need. The latest arrivals sit at the top by default, and you can switch the sort to community votes to see what the audience has pushed up. Votes are not for sale. Treat this page as a scouting ground: odd finds turn up here first, and a cluster of similar tools is a useful signal in itself.

Other: questions answered

What belongs in Other?
Software that does not match any named category on the list. If you scan the rails and no heading describes what your tool does, this is the place. If a better-fitting heading exists, use that one, because buyers browsing it will find you faster.
My product fits two categories. Should I pick Other?
No. Choose the closest named category as your main one. Every listing gets a single main category at no cost, and an optional upgrade for $5 lets you appear under further headings. Other is for products that truly match none of them.
How do I get a product into this category?
Go to /submit and drop in your site's URL. An AI drafts the profile from that site, then you review each field and change anything that is off before it goes live. Pick Other as the main category. A free listing waits about 6-8 weeks in the queue.
How are the rows ordered?
Newcomers appear at the top unless you change the sort. Choosing community votes reorders the rows by the support each product has gathered. Nobody can pay to move up that ranking, so a high vote position reflects real interest from visitors.
What should I check when comparing tools here?
Because these products do not share a category, start with the plain description: who it serves and what single job it does. Then compare how clearly each profile explains itself, and use the filters to narrow the rows before you open any website.
