StealthOS is a privacy-focused mobile application that transforms your iPhone or iPad into a secure, private desktop environment. The app includes a Tor browser with built-in anonymity features, an AES-256 encrypted password vault with two-factor authentication support, and a panic password that permanently deletes all data if forced to unlock. Users can chat and play games offline with nearby devices over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth through Connection Pool, or connect remotely through a self-hosted StealthRelay server. What is StealthOS?
StealthOS is a private operating environment for iPhone and iPad that provides a desktop with real windows, a private browser with Tor built in, an encrypted password vault, OpenPGP, encrypted snapshots, offline chat, calls and games, and on-device AI. There is no account and no tracking.
Does StealthOS route all phone traffic through Tor?
No. StealthOS is not a VPN. Tor and anti-fingerprinting protect only what you do in Stealth Browser inside the app. Other apps on your phone are not affected.
What does the panic password do?
You set a second password next to your real one. If forced to unlock StealthOS, typing the panic password instead permanently deletes everything and opens to a fresh, empty desktop, making it look like a normal unlock. The deletion cannot be undone.
How does Connection Pool work without the internet?
Nearby phones connect directly over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth with no signal or server needed. Up to 8 people can join a nearby pool. For remote communication, you can run your own open-source StealthRelay server to allow up to 16 people to join, including friends from a web browser.
Does StealthOS collect analytics or telemetry?
No. There is no account to create, and the app has no analytics or tracking SDKs. Your passwords, files and browsing data stay on your device.
