Quick answers

1. How is Statsy different from StatusPage.io or Betterstack?

Statsy is built for developers and small teams who need a clean, professional status page without enterprise complexity or pricing. Competing tools like StatusPage.io and Betterstack are built for enterprise teams and priced at $100+/month before useful features are available.

2. What happens when I hit the free plan limits?

Your status page stays live and publicly accessible. You just won't be able to add more services or subscribers until you upgrade. There are no sudden lockouts or surprises.

3. Can I use a custom domain?

Yes, custom domains like status.yoursite.com are available on paid plans. Setup takes about 2 minutes by pointing a CNAME record.

4. How do subscriber notifications work?

Visitors subscribe to your status page with just their email, no account needed. When you post an incident or resolve one, they get notified automatically.

5. Is there a setup fee or long-term contract?

No, there is no setup fee or contracts. The free plan is free forever, and paid plans are month-to-month with the ability to cancel any time from your account settings.
