Page Builder Sandwich is a WordPress page builder. It stores pages as ordinary WordPress blocks. It uses no shortcodes and no private format. WordPress, your theme and your SEO plugin can keep reading your pages, whatever you add later. Work in the regular block editor, or open Sandwich Studio. This full-screen visual editor offers a layers panel, undo history, a command palette and keyboard shortcuts.
A page pulls in only the styles of its own blocks, from your own uploads folder. Class names are neutral and generator tags are absent. A measured test page gained +0.5 kB and made 0 requests to other companies' servers. The free accessibility checker points out missing alternative text and weak colour contrast while you build.
The free plugin includes 44 blocks and 20 website kits. Pro brings 68 further blocks and 8 further kits. It also adds a form builder, popups, A/B tests, a theme builder, a design system, a WooCommerce store builder and imports from Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, WPBakery and Figma. Its MCP server, with 150 tools, lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other AI agents build pages.
