What it is
Note Way: the homepage
Note Way is a productivity application for Mac that transforms spoken words into organized digital content. Users hold a key and speak naturally, and the app automatically extracts appointments, to-do items, lists, and ideas, then files each one in the appropriate location. The app understands natural language including corrections mid-sentence, various date formats, and can recognize people and deadlines. It integrates with calendar, reminders and notes, and can transcribe meeting notes from Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Webex, Slack and FaceTime. Longer thoughts become formatted pages with sections and tables. An iPhone app is coming soon.

Quick answers
Do I have to speak clearly?
No. The app automatically drops filler words like 'uh' and 'um', and when you correct yourself, the correction wins. You see what Note Way understood before anything is saved.
What if Note Way gets something wrong?
You see a preview first and can edit it with E or discard it with esc. After saving, ⌘Z brings everything back, and under 'Said' you can undo any single sentence, even days later.
Can I type instead of speak?
Yes. On the Mac you type into the line at the bottom of Today. In the iPhone app, coming soon, you tap the dot; holding it means talk.
Does it record my calls by itself?
In meeting apps like Zoom, Meet and Teams it starts writing along once you've said yes to that. In messengers it asks first. Audio is deleted once it's transcribed; only the text stays.
How do I cancel?
You can cancel whenever you like, on the Mac in Settings. Pro stays on until the end of what you've paid for.
