MacRun provides dedicated M6 Mac minis that stay on 24 hours a day with Claude Code and Codex pre-installed for running AI coding agents unattended. You sign in with your own Claude or ChatGPT account, and your existing subscription covers usage with no additional API keys or tokens charged by MacRun. Access your Mac's desktop from any browser tab and control the agent from your phone using the Claude or ChatGPT apps.
The service includes real email support from someone who knows your machine, usually responding within the hour. You can install additional tools, Homebrew packages, or other coding agents yourself as the account is an administrator. The Mac stays connected via wired ethernet with battery backup to ensure uninterrupted operation while you work on other tasks.

What is an agent Mac?
A dedicated M6 Mac mini that stays on 24 hours a day with Claude Code and Codex installed. A coding agent can work on your software while you sleep. You open its desktop from a browser tab and control it from your phone for $169 a month, cancel anytime.
Do I need an API key?
No. You sign in to Claude Code with your Claude account or to Codex with your ChatGPT account. Your existing subscription covers the usage and MacRun never sees your keys or conversations.
Which agents are installed?
Claude Code and Codex are both installed and updated. At signup you pick which one runs first. You can switch or run both later.
Can I install other tools or agents?
Yes. Your account is an administrator so sudo works with your own password. Install Homebrew packages, Xcode versions, simulator runtimes or other coding agents. MacRun supports Claude Code and Codex directly, while other software is yours to run on software work.
What happens to my agent's files when I cancel?
Access ends at the end of the paid period, then the machine is wiped. Copy anything you want to keep before then. The volume is securely erased and the Mac is restored to a clean image.
