What it is
CandorKit: the homepage
CandorKit lets you create short anonymous surveys without signing up. Build 1–5 questions using rating, choice, or text formats. Share a public link for respondents to answer without an account, then use a separate private link to review summaries, individual answers, and export results as CSV for up to 100 responses.
Responses are stored for seven days and then deleted. The tool does not automatically attach account IDs, IP addresses, user agents, or cookie IDs to answers. It is designed for low-risk feedback collection and is not suitable for regulated research, protected reporting, or highly sensitive data.

What data is stored with each survey response?
CandorKit stores the survey title, introduction, questions, answer text, choices or ratings, creation and submission timestamps, a hashed private results credential, and an expiry timestamp. It does not automatically attach account IDs, IP addresses, user agents, cookie IDs, or cross-survey user history to responses.
How long are survey results kept?
Responses stay in the private results view for seven days. After the survey expires, the respondent and results links stop working, and the expired survey and its responses are deleted from CandorKit's live database during the next daily cleanup.
What question types does CandorKit support?
You can use rating, single choice, multiple choice, short answer, and long answer question formats. Each survey can have 1–5 questions.
Who can view survey results?
Anyone with the full private results link can read answers. The private link is separate from the public respondent link, allowing the survey owner to control who accesses the results.
Is CandorKit suitable for sensitive or regulated research?
No. CandorKit is for low-risk feedback only and is not suitable for regulated research, protected reporting, legal or medical confidentiality, emergencies, child data, or highly sensitive and identifying information.
